These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by The Cleaning Company ("we," "us," or "our"), including residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, and specialty cleaning services, as well as our website at www.cleaningcompanyonline.com.
By scheduling, booking, or receiving our services, you ("Customer" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Services
1.1 Scope of Services
The Cleaning Company provides a variety of professional cleaning, maintenance, and property support services throughout the State of Florida. Services may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Residential Cleaning – Routine and deep cleaning services for houses, apartments, condominiums, and private residences, including maid services and housekeeping.
• Vacation Rental Cleaning – Turnover cleaning, linen service coordination, and housekeeping support for short-term rental properties and vacation homes.
• Commercial & Janitorial Cleaning – Cleaning and maintenance services for offices, retail stores, commercial buildings, schools, medical facilities, and other business environments.
• Post-Construction Cleaning – Cleaning services following construction, renovation, or remodeling projects to remove dust, debris, and building residue.
• Floor and Surface Care – Services including carpet cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, floor care, and related maintenance services.
• Pressure Washing – Exterior cleaning services for homes, buildings, driveways, sidewalks, roofs, and other surfaces using professional pressure or soft-wash techniques.
• Trash Bin Cleaning – Sanitization and pressure washing of residential or commercial trash containers to remove odors, bacteria, and buildup.
• Parking Lot and Porter Services – Exterior cleaning, litter removal, sweeping, and maintenance services for commercial properties and community common areas.
• Facilities Maintenance – General maintenance and support services for commercial properties and managed facilities.
• Property Management Support – Property-related services that may include cleaning coordination, maintenance assistance, and operational support for residential or commercial properties.
The Cleaning Company may expand, modify, or discontinue services at its discretion. Specific services provided will depend on the service agreement or booking confirmation between the Customer and The Cleaning Company.
1.2 Service Estimates
Estimates provided prior to service are based on information provided by the Customer. Final pricing may be adjusted if the actual scope of work differs from what was described at the time of booking. We will notify you of any significant changes before proceeding.
1.3 Right to Decline Service
We reserve the right to decline, limit, or discontinue services at our sole discretion, including but not limited to situations involving unsafe conditions, hazardous materials, extreme disorder, or inappropriate conduct toward our staff.
2. Booking and Scheduling
2.1 Scheduling
Services may be booked online through our website or booking platform, or by contacting us directly. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by The Cleaning Company.
2.2 Access to Property
The Customer is responsible for ensuring our team has safe and unobstructed access to the property at the scheduled time. If we are unable to access the property for reasons within the Customer's control, a lockout fee may apply.
For safety reasons, pets must be secured during the cleaning appointment. If pets interfere with the service, the cleaning may be shortened or discontinued and full service charges may still apply.
2.3 Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment to avoid a cancellation fee.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost. No-shows or same-day cancellations may be charged the full service fee.
2.4 Rescheduling
Appointment rescheduling requests are accommodated based on availability. We request at least 24 hours’ advance notice to reschedule without additional charges.
Services may be delayed or rescheduled due to severe weather, emergencies, or circumstances outside of our control. We will notify customers as soon as possible and reschedule at the next available time.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Pricing
Pricing for our services is provided at the time of booking. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.
Applicable sales tax or other charges required by Florida law will be added to your invoice.
3.2 Payment Methods
We accept payment via major credit and debit cards and other methods as indicated at checkout. Payment is typically collected at or after the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3 Late Payment
Invoices not paid within 30 days of the service date may be subject to a late fee. Continued non-payment may result in the suspension of services and referral to a collection agency. The Customer agrees to pay all reasonable collection costs, including attorney’s fees, if applicable.
3.4 Refunds
If you are not satisfied with a service, please contact us within 24 hours of the service date. We will work with you to resolve any concerns, which may include a re-clean of the affected areas at no charge. Refunds are issued at our sole discretion and on a case-by-case basis.
4. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer of The Cleaning Company, you agree to:
• Provide accurate and complete information when booking services
• Ensure safe and legal working conditions for our cleaning staff
• Disclose any known hazards, fragile items, or special handling requirements prior to the service
• Secure pets during cleaning appointments to ensure the safety of both your pet and our team
• Notify us of any alarm codes, locked areas, or access restrictions in advance
• Treat our staff with respect and professionalism at all times
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1 Damage Claims
We take great care when performing services. In the event that our team causes damage to your property, please notify us in writing within 24 hours of service completion. We will investigate all claims and, where appropriate, arrange for repair or replacement at our discretion, up to the amount paid for the service in question.
5.2 Pre-Existing Damage
The Cleaning Company is not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or fragile items that were not disclosed prior to service. We recommend documenting the condition of your property before our arrival if you have concerns.
5.3 Limitation of Liability Cap
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, The Cleaning Company’s total liability for any claims arising from a service shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.

6. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, logos, images, and graphics, is the property of The Cleaning Company and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.
7. Relationship of Parties
Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, joint venture, partnership, or agency relationship between you and The Cleaning Company. Our cleaning professionals are employed or engaged by The Cleaning Company and are not available for direct hire by Customers during or after any period of service with us.
8. Non-Solicitation
You agree not to directly solicit, hire, or employ any current or former employee or contractor of The Cleaning Company who has provided services to you within the preceding 12 months, without our prior written consent. A referral fee may apply in lieu of this restriction.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While we strive to deliver high-quality results, we make no warranties or guarantees, express or implied, regarding specific outcomes, including the complete removal of all stains, odors, or damage.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
10.2 Informal Resolution
In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from these Terms or our services, the parties agree to first attempt resolution informally by contacting us at cs@cleaningcompanyonline.com. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve the matter within 15 business days.
10.3 Jurisdiction and Venue
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any legal action shall be filed in the appropriate state or federal courts located in the State of Florida. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
12. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Cleaning Company regarding your use of our services and supersede all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
